KSU Alumni Night at the Braves coming up on June 9
The Office of Alumni Relations at Kennesaw State University, along with the Atlanta Braves, host KSU Alumni Night at the Braves on Friday, June 9. Atlanta plays the New York Mets, National League Eastern Division rivals, that evening at SunTrust Park in Cobb County.
A pregame event takes place inside the new park’s conference center from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with special guest Brian Bohannon, head football coach at Kennesaw State and a 2016 finalist for STATS FCS Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year, a national award. Bohannon led the Owls to an 8-3 overall record in just their second season of competition last year. The game slated to begin at 7:35 p.m.
June 9 is also Bartolo Colón bobblehead night, presented by Coca-Cola. The first 20,000 fans through the gates receive a bobblehead of the Braves’ pitcher who turned 44 on May 24. Following the game will be the top-rated fireworks show in the Southeast.
As a part of the Atlanta Braves University Days series, food and non-alcoholic beverages are included during the pregame meet-and-greet gathering if the best ticket option is purchased. There also is a cash bar.
KSU Alumni Night at the Braves features three different ticket packages, ranging from $10 to $65 per person. Two of the options include a unique Kennesaw State-branded Braves baseball cap. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit the KSU Night page on the Braves website.
