IgniteHQ becomes coworking hot spot for KSU students, Marietta residents

Ignite HQ“Click.” The glassy door of IgniteHQ pops open for the fifth time this morning. Two gentlemen clad in tight denim and relaxed cotton shirts donning oversized leather messenger bags enter the building. One bee-lines for a padded booth off to the side of the common area and immediately sets up a laptop. The other stops into the break room for a coffee and a granola bar pausing to discuss last night’s game with an animated woman donning a red tailored dress and perfectly manicured nails.

Three minutes later, the energetic voices of more men and women echo past the entrance. The group breezes past the mailboxes enthusiastically discussing the day’s social media marketing strategy, and disappears into a large office.

This is a typical coworking morning at IgniteHQ, the hottest new Kennesaw State University partner in downtown Marietta. Attracted to one Gigabit speedy internet, ample free parking, conference rooms, event space, and endless drinks and snacks, IgniteHQ members hail from KSU and beyond.

Earlier this year, KSU President Sam Olens stood among an impressive lineup of community leaders to officially open the doors of IgniteHQ. Synergy began to happen and Kennesaw State student-supported and founded startups such as Traxion, TreeCabin and Correct Leads joined the entrepreneurial community.

KSU students and professors tout IgniteHQ’s sleek, state-of-the-art space, educational
programs and many amenities.

“This productivity destination is well suited for recent graduates, professors looking to
