    • Cardboard Boat Regatta (Marietta campus pool) 6:00pm

    Tuesday, October 8th

    • Homecoming Service Project, 12:00pm-2:00pm, Field across from Stingers (Marietta Campus- lawn between Stingers and the J building). Join the Department of Student Leadership and Service (SLS) and your fellow KSU Owls in the fun, hands-on volunteer opportunity as we transform old t-shirts into rope toys for the dogs of Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue.
    • Team Trivia, 6:00pm, Student Center University rooms, (Kennesaw campus). Team Trivia is a free event for students that includes food and giveaways for our top performing teams. Space is limited based on the number of teams who have registered in advance (as a part of the spirit competitions) and available seating on either campus.

    Wednesday, October 9th

    • Homecoming Service Project, 12:00pm-2:00pm, Kennesaw Campus Green (Kennesaw campus). Join the Department of Student Leadership and Service (SLS) and your fellow KSU Owls in the fun, hands-on volunteer opportunity as we create thank you cards for deployed soldiers.

    Thursday, October 10th

    • KSU Live Homecoming Concert, 6:00pm-10:30pm, (Kennesaw Campus Green).

    Friday, October 11th

    • Lip Sync, Bonfire and Pep Rally, 6:00pm, Marietta Campus Amphitheater, (Marietta Campus). Lip Sync is an annual competition hosted during the week of Homecoming featuring the talents of our student organizations. Be sure to stick around after the performances for an outdoor bonfire and food trucks.

    Saturday, October 12th

    • Homecoming Parade, Time: 12:45pm, from KSU Center toward The Perch, with Owl Walk at 1pm. Come out and see the Homecoming Parade featuring the Marching Owls, floats, the Homecoming Court, and more. Parade Route
    • Football Game:
      Time: 3pm, Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Football Tickets
    • Homecoming Court Presentation, Fifth Third Stadium. The 2019 Homecoming Court will be presented during the halftime festivities during the game.
  • The Homecoming Spirit Competitions are a series of team-based events that celebrate OWL PRIDE! Events include window decorating, team trivia, the annual lip sync competition, and the parade banner/float competition. These competitions are an opportunity for students and student organizations to compete in various events and activities in which participants have the opportunity to gain points and be recognized as the Homecoming Spirit Competition winners! Don't want to participate? No worries! Come out and watch!

    Below is the schedule for the Spirit Competitions. To participate in events, students will need to register as a part of a team.  Registration is free and open to all active KSU students. Students may only participate on one team. Teams may participate in any number of spirit competition events. All participants are highly encouraged to review the full rules packet for the competitions.

    Golden Owl Spirit Award 2017: Alpha Xi Delta & Delta Tau Delta

  • The Homecoming Court and Homecoming King and Queen are a part of the annual Homecoming festivities at KSU. The purpose of the court is to recognize members of the student body who make invaluable contributions to the KSU community and represent the core ideals of Kennesaw State University as student leaders. Throughout the week of Homecoming, they serve as ambassadors of school spirit and pride as a Kennesaw State Owl. Voting for the King and Queen will take place during the week of Homecoming, and the winners will be recognized at the Homecoming football game against Liberty.

    Homecoming Court voting will take place on Owl Life. Voting is open to all currently enrolled students at KSU using your Net ID and password.

  • The Homecoming Parade is an annual tradition that features the KSU Marching Owls leading a procession of floats, banners, decorated vehicles, golf carts, and the Homecoming Court. This year, the parade will be Saturday, October 12th, and will start approximately three and half hours before kickoff for the Homecoming football game.

    Route (Route Information)
    The route for the 2019 Homecoming Parade will start from KSU Center down Busbee Drive taking a right on George Busbee Pkwy and a right on Big Shanty Road.  The parade with take a right into the Black Lot and end back at the KSU Center).

    Viewing
    For guest who are parking for the football game, all of the lots adjacent to the stadium will be convenient for viewing the parade along Busbee Pkwy (Fanzone) or down Busbee Dr. If you are not parking in one of the stadium lots for the football game, the best viewing area would be down Big Shanty between the intersection with Busbee Pkwy and the Black Lot.

    Participation
    Groups that are interested in participating in the 2019 KSU Homecoming Parade will need to fill out a Participation Form by Sunday, September 29th at 5:00pm.
