    Joey Ruse knows that the secret to a successful startup company involves generating a truly innovative idea and assembling a strong team of industry connections, the latter of which he said were forged during his time at Kennesaw State University. Recently, he and fellow alumnus Eban Bisong launched Creative Critique, an online platform that harnesses a robust community of creative-minded people to provide actionable feedback on each other’s work.

    Growing up, Hershle Ellis gravitated toward anything that had to do with science fiction and astronautics. He dreamed he would one day be responsible for blasting spacecraft into orbit and decided early on that studying engineering would be the vehicle through which he could achieve those goals.

    Kennesaw State University Alumni Association recently elected five new executive officers to serve beginning July 1. The KSU Alumni Association’s newest officers were voted by the organization’s 24-member Board of Directors, which works to build and support connections among alumni, students and the University.
