AcademicsKennesaw State has been elevated to an R2 classification – a doctoral institution with high research activity – by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Learning. KSU is one of only 259 (Top 6%) institutions to carry the “R1” or “R2” designation nationally.
